Student interns are a tremendous asset to our organization in the areas of donor services,marketing, graphic design, and project management. Interns become familiar with key community leaders and interact with them by phone, email, and in person. Students help distribute grant funding to Northern Colorado nonprofits, make website updates using our online content management system, and much more.


Ashton Anderson
May 2016 - Present
Ashton grew up in Colorado and graduated from Rock Solid High School in Littleton. She is majoring in human resources and organization & innovation management at Colorado State University, class of 2017. Her goal is to use her degree to address social justice issues to create a better business environment and to serve her community. Ashton is excited to develop skills at the Foundation that will benefit her in the future. 


Karah Midgarden
December 2015- Present
Karah is a Colorado native and graduated from Fort Collins High School. She is majoring in business at Colorado State University, class of 2019. Karah hopes to pursue a career in small business ownership and sees the skills she is learning at the Foundation helping her in the future.


Lynsie Roper
August 2017 - Present
Lynsie is an Aurora, Colorado, native who graduated from Cherokee Trail High School. She is majoring in Corporate and Investment Finance at Colorado State University (class of 2018), and is working toward a minor in Interdisciplinary Leadership. In addition, Lynsie has been a member of the CSU President’s Leadership Program since her freshman year. She is excited to be a part of the CFNC team, and hopes to start her own nonprofit one day to help families and individuals have better access to healthy and affordable food.
